Maintenance Position Job Description

Tungsten Parts Wyoming is looking for a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance on large machinery. This individual would be responsible for maintaining all plant equipment and performing preventative maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responds to all maintenance requests and assists where necessary in repair of machinery
  • Troubleshoots failed components using wiring schematics/blueprints and test equipment Performs preventative and predictive maintenance as prescribed by OEM engineering specifications and manuals
  • Completes inspections and creates work orders to repair discrepancies
  • Documents all repairs performed and logs times and materials used
  • Understands and follows environmental, health and safety rules and regulations by following established company policies and procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Mechanical and Diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of three-phase power systems and low voltage control systems, hydraulic and pneumatic controls
  • Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams
  • Understands and follows lock-out tag-out procedures
  • Welding (Mig & Tig)
  • Knowledge of manual metal cutting (mill, lathe) operation
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Electronic troubleshooting
  • Mechanical troubleshooting
  • Hydraulic troubleshooting
  • Pneumatic troubleshooting
  • Blueprint reading
  • Knowledge of hand tools
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Excellent comprehension of written instructions

Physical Requirements:
1. Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching
2. Frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
3. Ability to work additional hours or alternate shifts

Quality Inspector responsibilities include

Tungsten Parts Wyoming is looking for a Quality Inspector to maintain company and client quality standards. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business. You would ensure our
products are made of flawless materials with well-functioning equipment.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Read blueprints and instructions
  • Understand and maintain company quality expectations
  • Uphold perfection within the Quality Lab
  • Determine sample quality
  • Maintain a working understanding of client contracts and specifications necessary
  • Understand how to perform complex testing procedures
  • Maintain records of testing, information and metrics to maintain company standards
  • Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained and discard any that doesn’t meet requirements
  • Prepare and maintain operating standards
  • Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager

Requirements and skills:

  • Proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role
  • A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Flexible schedule
  • Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems (Preferred but Optional)
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, quality standards and functions.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 functions (Preferred but Optional)

Production Operator

Production Operators are responsible for loading and unloading ingredients and materials into machinery, maintaining equipment and sanitizing work areas. The ideal Production Operator will have a minimum of one year’s experience working in a manufacturing setting, have excellent communication skills and be a team player.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Be comfortable working with basic machine tools.
  • Be able to use a tape measure.
  • Be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Be able to inspect parts for defects and abnormalities.
  • Know the proper way to hold and use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
  • Be able to determine sizes of objects with precision. Optional)
